Wilbur is one of several from my series “animals in botanicals.” Pigs are amazing creatures! This illustration was created using pencil and watercolor. Wilbur was inspired by the humble and famous pig from Charlotte’s Webb. He is painted on watercolor on paper. Watercolor botanicals were then painted and hand cut to overlap Wilbur between him and the mat. This illustration is displayed in a natural wood frame with a white mat and glass.
